Mini-Camp Review

The Virtual Mini-Camp went very well. TFB rising Seniors showed great maturity and leadership by mentoring their peers, rising Juniors led by being the silent examples, rising Sophomores related to our youngest members, and the newest members of TFB: the rising Freshmen were eager to learn and work hard. Guard members were hard at work with virtual homework assignments. And Percussionists were in contact with their staff members to finalize auditions! Kudos to all involved!

A Bold “3.2 Step Interval” Forward*

ALL INSTRUMENTALISTS (everyone in Band except color guard members)will be required to use Smart Music. This is currently free, and the Band will purchase a subscription for each member, so no need to worry about the cost. This is a very helpful online music instructional tool that will help us significantly in any of the futures we can foresee. Simply making an account on their website and use the following class code to access our materials: HX3RG-H6ZAN

Most importantly, please review OUR BAND’S TFB Covid-19 Procedures TFB Covid-19 Procedures_Final. Only staff, directors, tuba players and percussionist will be permitted in the band room. With the exception of percussionists and tubists, members should prepare to bring all of their equipment to/from rehearsals every day. If this is an issue, see a band director to make accommodations.

Reminder: ALL PERSONS ENTERING CAMPUS WILL NEED TO HAVE A MASK ON HAND. (suggested to pull it down around your neck when not wearing it.)
