Congratulations to the Franklin Winter Guard for advancing to semifinals for the first time at the WGI (Winter Guard International) World Championships in Dayton, Ohio, April 7-9 with their show, “James.”
Franklin began preliminaries against 134 other amazing units from all over the country in their class. Of the 56 guards who make it to semifinals, Franklin placed 33rd. Twenty winter guards make it to finals, and Franklin placed 21st. This is the first time in Franklin Winter Guard’s history to make semifinals at the WGI World Championships.
